CERS User Guide Overview
CERS allows teachers and administrators to access detailed student performance information for the following state summative and interim assessments:
- Smarter Balanced Interim Assessment Blocks for ELA and Mathematics (IABs)
- Smarter Balanced Focused Interim Assessment Blocks for ELA and Mathematics (FIABs)
- Smarter Balanced Interim Comprehensive Assessments for ELA and Mathematics (ICAs)
- Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment for English Language Arts/literacy (SB ELA)
- Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment for Mathematics (SB Math)
- California Alternate Assessments for English Language Arts/literacy (CAA for ELA)
- California Alternate Assessments for Mathematics (CAA for Math)
- California Alternate Assessments for Science (CAA for Science)
- California Science Test (CAST)
- California Science Test Interim Assessments (CAST IAs)
- California Spanish Assessment (CSA)
- Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC)
- English Language Proficiency Assessments for California Interim Assessments (ELPAC IAs)
- Summative Alternate English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (Summative Alternate ELPAC)
Authorized system users can view student data at their associated district, school, and grade levels. Users with the required permissions may also view, download, and print Individual Student Reports (ISRs).
Browser Requirements
CERS is intended to be accessed using a web browser from a computer or tablet. It is compatible with the current stable version of all modern browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge Chromium, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. The Internet Explorer browser is not compatible with this system.
